I think the passion about your topic is so important. And it may take people a while to find that topic - but just ask yourself - what could I spend all day doing and still be excited about at the end of the day - without getting paid? Often it's a hobby. Luckily for me, it's technology!

And a note about language level - you attract people who read at the level you write. So your writing can be an easy way to subtly define your target audience.

I find it is problematic to come across the correct information as far as I can see. this place tells you one thing and another person tells you something completely the opposite!
Well, I thought the smartest thing to do is get real feedback from you guys as you may have personal experience re these things.
