Uploading the script now that will let you do multiple sizes, it should be on there in a few hours.

The spacing between the lines... that's the way the browsers render the images that are wider than the screen, nothing to do with my coding.

Try enlarging that page in Firefox (hold Ctrl and scroll the mouse wheel up). As soon as ANY of those images become bigger than the screen, it adds a little space down below.

Just don't let the images get wider than the page and it won't happen... nothing I can do to change the way IE and FF render images :-)

re headline length and spacing:

Here is a page with some variations in line length. Unless my eyes deceive me, it looks like a shorter line results in a smaller space between the lines.

http://newyouyear.com/plank/headlinetest.php

It isn't a huge difference, but can be noticeable.

Looking forward to the update for multiple sizes.

Thanks,

Good job Robert!

Just installed your update for GEO and not only does it has my City and State right, but it was only a few numbers off from having my Zip Code correct. I'm in 19122 and the script said I'm in 19140.

Fantastic job. I'm going to add this code on some of my pages and see how it effects my opt-in rates.

Special Offer for Residents of !

Using the country insertion trick boosted my opt-in rates about 38%, so I do know this works.

how do I "quote" other responses in my response?

Wrap a BLOCKQUOTE html tag around it.

Can you reopen some old products on a dimesale? take some stuff that has been sitting fuddy-duddy and get some of us that want to buy it but can't afford to get EVERY SINGLE AWESOME PRODUCT you sell?

I would like to, but that would be unfair for people who paid full price, even if it was several years ago. It's better to launch at a dimesale and then set a fixed price. What old stuff of mine did you want?

But the spacing between lines seems to vary with the length of line. In a long sales headline that means the spacing is different between lines.

Can you show me an example of that?

Also, I'm going to look further, but I assume we could modify the script to use h3, h4, etc, to really snaz things up?

I am actually working on a CSS parser for it this week, so you can simply point the script to a CSS file and it will create an image with whatever colors you choose if it's an h3, h4, etc.

As usual I'll send out the update for free, just like I updated you guys with the new geo script this morning.

Just like with all my scripts, I wanted to release the simplest version 1 possible of the script to see if there was any interest, before getting crazy and adding a bunch of stuff.

Right now it looks like the geotargeting and image headlines are the most popular script in the package, instant e-course is a close 3rd.
